The location of the hotel was great, close to the city and with a beautiful view of the river. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They were helpful when we arrived late and even ordered pizza for us when the restaurant was busy. The price was really good and we felt it was great value for money.
The breakfast options were quite simple and limited. The bathroom was small and cramped.

I would be hard to find a better staff anywhere. Breakfast was good and had a large selection. The restaurant had good Indian food. The beds were comfortable.
You need to park on the other side of a very busy street; with trollies running down the middle. The twin rooms are small, but they up graded us to a larger room; free of charge. The air conditioning was broken, but we travel with a fan and they gave us a discount.

This was our second visit to this botel and we loved it the first time; except the air conditioning was broken. It was still broken, but it was much cooler and not a problem. The food is good and the staff is very helpful.
There was a problem this time with a wedding reception in the restaurant above our room. It didn't stop until 5am. The director tried to quiet them down, but it didn't work and we had no sleep that night; with all of the music and jumping around it was impossible. The owner refunded the price of the room in the morning. Be sure to check there is no party scheduled for the nights you will be staying, or that you are at the other end of the boat.

Our recent stay at a charming boat hotel just under the castle was a delightful experience. The historic interior with its beautiful wood accents was a cool touch. Waking up to the sunrise over the Danube River was truly unforgettable. The location was perfect, just a few meters from the river promenade and close to the city center. Despite some small maintenance issues in the bathroom, the overall condition of the boat was good. The staff was helpful and allowed us to store our backpacks before check-in. We enjoyed the nice views of the castle and river from the hotel. I would recommend this hotel for a unique and enjoyable stay.

We arrive to the Botel and everybody was great and very helpfull, but nobody told us that the a/c was broken by 3 days. So, it was impossible to sleep, it is very warm inside because of the engines and the windows can open just 2 inches. Trying to talk to the manager, it was impossible to connect him, so we did not pass the night in the botel and run away at 23:00 hrs. The day after that, they refounded the money, but the manager never showed in person. Bad experience because they were not totally honest when we arrived. Therefore, it were other guest in the same position.

Staying on a boat hotel - 'botel' is quite an experience, that alone means 1 or 2 nights allows you to tick that off the bucket list. This particular botel had very friendly staff. The location on the Danube also means a lovely outlook especially if you are on the river side. Within walking distance to the Old Town of Bratislava the botel is in a great location.
If you have any issues with motion sickness, probably not a good idea to stay in one of these 'botels' - this is a receommendation regarding botels in general and not just this botel. This botel is an Indian Restaurant so be mindful that the smell permeates throughout the common areas.

Affordable price and central location were the biggest advantages of our weekend stay. The hotel was located within walking distance of popular attractions and had a nice restaurant nearby. we enjoyed a lovely foresty walkway, away from the tourist crowds, which provided an alternative way to explore the city.
There were a few disappointing aspects of our stay. the rooms had a lingering cigarette smell, which was unpleasant.

For the price we paid, the value was excellent. The rooms were really nice, clean, and charming, with a lovely view of the Danube from the window. The staff were friendly and the location was very central, making it easy to explore the city.
The breakfast offerings could use some improvement, especially in terms of the quality of the produce used.

I had read a number of bad reviews on the Botel Marina, and was prepared for the worst...yet I still wanted to try out the Botel-idea...and I loved it! Yes, it was clean...yes, at times you felt the boat rocking due to other boats going on the Danue...its not a 4 - star hotel, but neither does it charge 4-star-prices! Go on...give it a go, the position could hardly be better!!!!!!!!! The staff was nice, the breakfast ok and even if the cabin was smallish...how much time are you going to spend in there anyhow, with Bratislava right at your doorstep?

I loved the location - very near the center of the city and the view was great. They had a great Indian restaurant with fair prices.
No parking...we had to park in a private parking by night and move it in the morning on the street (it was not safe on the street by night) every day. Breakfast was a big joke...if you did not go in the first hour..you had a very huge chance of finding nothing! Room was never cleaned. Boat rocked a little - if you have a problem with this.

The hotel's vintage decor and cozy ambiance brought back memories of a bygone era. The common areas were beautifully adorned with unique artifacts, antique furniture, and elegant drapes, giving the hotel a distinctive charm that I absolutely adored. As a senior, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel, with convenient ramps and elevators ensuring easy navigation throughout the premises.
I would have welcomed a more attentive and helpful approach from the staff. It would have made my vacation even more enjoyable if the children working there showed a bit more warmth and willingness to assist senior guests like myself.

Stayed three nights, and it was fine. The room was small, but the bathroom was attached which was a surprise. Don't know how good value it was as I really don't know what hotels generally cost in Slovakia.
It can be loud with people talking outside the room till late. Ear plugs work fine.
